Country Song Recommendations?

Enough time has passed since when I fist said “I don’t like country songs” so many years ago, and my heart is healed and open for new experiences again. For a time country seemed to me like only stadium-style pop songs with banjos in them, but I think there’s more both before and after that era in the genre.

So, as someone who used to dislike country, any recommendations? The song types I know I like are stuff like Old School Johnny Cash and nova stuff like Sturgil Simpson’s new sound. What else is there to hear?

Try “Everytime you say goodbye” by Alison Krauss & Union Station

That’s for Bluegrass style country!

Nobody but You is a good one! I feel like anything with Keith Urban is pretty safe 🙂
