Finally, Good News. Animal Shelters Are Running Out Of Pets To Adopt! (www.washingtonpost.com)

“As the coronavirus pandemic has kept more residents at home, it has created such a high demand for adopting dogs that there’s a dwindling supply.”

A happy silver lining of this terrible pandemic, that’s for sure. Running out of animals to adopt simply because all of them are finding their forever homes is the definition of a good problem to have. I’ve volunteered at shelters before and knowing there are those out there who’re close to accomplishing their goals of a home for every animal simply warms my heart.
