How To Negotiate Like Your Life Depends On It

Who’s the best person to ask for advice about how to negotiate? Someone who negotiates with lives on the line, like Chris Voss, former lead hostage negotiator for the FBI. If you’re tempted to pass over on this because you’re probably not going to be negotiating with bank robbers to release your wife, think again; Voss also explains why these types of skills directly translate to everyday life, whether it be business negotiations or even getting your kid to clean his room each night. Interesting and very useful, that’s for sure.

My favorite part? Turns out, business negotiations are always more heated than hostage negotiations. Crazy!
