'Kulning': A hypnotic Swedish singing tradition (www.bbc.com)

Singers of this ancient form of Swedish herd-calling corral farm animals with haunting melodies, drawing in cows, goats, sheep and ducks with each hypnotic note.

Very fascinating bit of Swedish culture! Hopefully I’ll be able to hear it in person one day!

I freaking LOVE kulning! The way the singer’s voice echos, falls, and lifts through nature- *sigh* makes me wish I was living in a small cabin up in the mountains, surrounded by wildflowers and mist.

Super large pointy rocks, typically hard to climb, and may (or may not) have snow at the top 😀 or a volcano, ya know, whatever card you draw lol
