New high-tech car seat tools could save kids from hot car deaths (abc7.com)

A new device promises to send alerts to a parent’s cell phone to remind them there’s a child in a car seat, aiming to prevent hot car deaths.

This is a nice high-end feature that I hope becomes standard at some point. It would also be good for animals!

I still get a bit confused with the idea that parents could actually forget their kids are in the car, but if this device prompts them to remember then it would definitely be worth it!
