When it comes to vehicles, would you rather have one that is reliable or crazy fast?
For my husband and I, we have completely different views. I can appreciate a fast car (and honestly love driving them) but I really feel like having a car that gets great gas mileage and doesn’t have tons of mechanical issues is far more important. While he agrees with the “no technical issues part”, he doesn’t agree that a car shouldn’t be fast.
If there’s no turbo, what’s the point?
And in the words of Spider-Man “with great power, comes great responsibility”. AKA, turbo=problems! Not problems like not being seen by cops problems (although that can be a concern). I’m talking about blown head gaskets, finicky exhaust valves, and low-boost turbo problems. It all adds up so fast!!
Anyway, I’d love to hear some thoughts in the comments about your opinion. Would you pick a fast car despite the maintenance they require? Or do you prefer old reliable?
